Happy New Year!

We want to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year! 2009 was a great year, may 2010 be even better!
In 2009, we saw many firsts with our baby girl: sitting up, eating solid food, crawling, pulling up, walking, talking, giving kisses and so many more adorable firsts. I'm sure 2010 will bring many more fun memories. We welcomed the new year at grandma and grandpa A's house (grandma and grandpa L., as well as great-grandma L. also joined us) and had a wonderful time. Sasha went to bed a little after 8pm (her usual bedtime) and missed the ball drop, but in all honesty, she doesn't even know what was happening. I can say that she sure enjoyed all her presents (we exchange presents for New Year, an old Russian tradition).
I'll post more, along with pictures, about last night.... and from today, because the celebration is never over in just one day: my uncle, aunt, and cousins are coming to my parents' house today. And then we're going ice skating - what a good start to this year!!
