First snow of the season

We had the first snow of the season yesterday: the timing was pretty bad (right after hurricane Sandy, from which so many people are still not recovered), but it was so very pretty! So the kids and I went outside for a bit to play with the snow, and later that evening, Z came home looking like a snowman because he caught the wrong bus and had to walk home in the blizzard.
