Playing with my speedlight
My camera's built in flash has been acting out lately, so I decided that instead of relying on it when taking pictures and possibly messing them up (it keeps overexposing everything), I'd try using my speedlight. I haven't used it since I took photography classes in college, so I pulled it out, dusted it off, and played. It was fun. I'm still getting used to it and adjusting the settings in my camera.

Those are great pics, you can really see the difference. I need to learn how to use those functions on my camera.
Thanks! I'm still playing around with it and trying to make the pictures not so washed out, but overall, I'm loving it so much more than the built-in flash!
