Sasha is five!!

I feel like I say this every year, but how is it possible!? How is my baby, a cute little snuggly baby we brought home from the hospital (yesterday, right?) already an independent, funny, lovely, caring, thoughtful, BIG girl? She's amazing! She reads in both Russian and English, and reads pretty well! She loves her little brother more than anybody else in the world (and makes sure to tell us a lot!) They really are the best friends, they laugh together; they play - mostly nicely; they imitate each other. She helps him when he needs to reach something or when he's not quite getting how to do a certain task. She's also amazingly funny - I find myself constantly laughing at her jokes.

Also, she was this little not too long ago. How, how did she get so big so fast??
