A night out

On Saturday, Z and I had a night out - we went to our friends' wedding. We had a blast and the wedding was beautiful!

Five months old

My little boy is 5 months old today. That's just a month away from 6 months (which is the point when I started freaking out about Sasha growing up too fast), which is halfway to a year old! Gah, I'll have a teenager before I know it (beware of a very sappy post coming up on Sasha's birthday!)
Little kiddo is awesome. He's such a happy little dude, he smiles at everybody. He still isn't sleeping through the night (sigh), but he's started teething, so that's bound to mess with his sleeping even more. He's still nursing wonderfully and I really enjoy that time so much! He sits in his highchair with us when we eat dinner, and it's so much fun watching him watch us. In fact, we're starting to think about solids, just not sure in which order we'll start. He's "talking" a ton and blowing raspberries.

NJ Botanical Gardens

We had another playdate with our neighbor Sophie and her adorable baby sister. We went to the NJ Botanical Gardens - it's pretty small, but so cozy and beautiful!

Fun with friends and family

AKA what every other post (at least the weekend ones) could be titled.
Z's coworker and his adorable son Max came to play in the pool:

Sasha is learning to share with her little brother :)

My parents, grandma, aunt, uncle, and cousin came for a barbecue:
He didn't seem too thrilled with Sasha's chair

NY Renaissance Fair

On Saturday, we went to the renaissance Fair. It was amazing! I felt like a kid walking around with all these princesses, knights, and fairies around us.  I just wish it were cheaper, so that we could go more than once a year. Till next summer!
Please ignore my silly faces in these two - I was just really amused with the little kiddo's grabbing the turkey leg and then hugging it!
